About Coralz
Coralz promotes the responsible and sustainable use of ocean resources to support the thriving development of humanity.
Human interaction with marine environments has led to widespread environmental degradation worldwide. Activities such as constructing marinas, ports, and related infrastructures, fishing, aquaculture cages, gas or oil drilling, and marine transportation have collectively damaged marine ecosystems. These marine areas cannot be expected to recover on their own. Climate change and the critical role of ocean water chemistry as a carbon sink have contributed to the destruction of habitats and the endangerment of marine biodiversity across the globe.
In Australia, these issues have been evident in the repeated mass bleaching events of the Great Barrier Reef, affecting nearly 90% of the country's coral reefs. This ongoing environmental challenge led to the establishment of Coralz.
For the past 13 years, Coralz has operated Australian campuses as a leading Registered Training Organisation (RTO), specializing in the training and export of Australian sustainable VET programs. An Australian company with offices on the Gold Coast and in Byron Bay, Coralz is part of the Envirotech Education Group.
