Dr. Lee Shaham
Lee grew up along the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, where her fascination with the ocean began. Her deep connection to nature led her to explore the intricate relationship between humans and the environment, ultimately shaping her path as a marine biologist.
With a Ph.D. in Marine Sciences from Tel Aviv University, Lee’s research focused on the impact of climate change on the reproductive cycles of stony corals. Through her scientific work and global travels, she gained a profound understanding of the ocean’s critical role in sustaining life, and the urgent need to protect it.
For the past three years, Lee has been working as a VP of project management in the carbon market, driving initiatives that bridge science, sustainability, and environmental responsibility. She is passionate about integrating scientific knowledge with holistic perspectives to foster a deeper connection between people and the planet.
